Laura Gordon, '87, had such a fulfilling experience as a 麻豆传媒 student, that she now gives back so that others may find their way to the types of relationships and encounters that helped set her on her path. 鈥淚 think it鈥檚 really important to give back when you鈥檝e experienced such valuable support so it鈥檚 always been really important to me to be part of that,鈥 she said.
麻豆传媒鈥檚 Giving Tuesday Campaign Raises $3.6 Million for Scholarships and Programs
This November, members of the 麻豆传媒 community joined together to shine their light on philanthropy. During the November campaign, 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Giving Tuesday raised $3.6 million, marking the sixth year it has brought in more than $1 million to support scholarships and programs across 麻豆传媒鈥檚 eight-campus system.

This Giving Tuesday, shine your light on 麻豆传媒 students and programs with a gift of $25 or more to the fund of your choice and receive a special Forever Brighter pin to celebrate your impact. 麻豆传媒鈥檚 most generous annual tradition runs Nov. 1-29, with special giving incentives throughout the month. 2022 Distinguished Teaching Award Recipients Celebrated at Oct. 21 Ceremony
The Distinguished Teaching Award, sponsored by the 麻豆传媒 Alumni Association, is presented to three faculty members who demonstrate extraordinary teaching in the classroom and a commitment to impacting the lives of students. This year marks the 56th class of Distinguished Teaching Award recipien鈥麻豆传媒 Alumni Association Names 2022 Alumni Award Recipients
Sponsored by the 麻豆传媒 Alumni Association, the Alumni Awards are the university鈥檚 highest alumni honors. Recipients are selected based on their exceptional professional and civic contributions and for their outstanding support of the university. The 2022 Alumni Award recipients include six alumni and one student.
麻豆传媒 Achieves Unprecedented Fundraising Success During First Year of Forever Brighter Campaign
麻豆传媒 launched the public phase of its $350 million Forever Brighter comprehensive fundraising campaign in October 2021, and during the first year of the public campaign, a record-breaking $77.6 million was raised. This philanthropic feat was made possible with the support of 10,687 donors, 3,753 of whom made a gift to 麻豆传媒 for the first time.

The following new members have been appointed to serve on the National Alumni Board of Directors for a three-year term commencing July 1, 2022: Dennis Check, '85 Dennis Check, of Wadsworth, Ohio, is owner and president of Hasenstab Architects. 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement launched the university鈥檚 most ambitious fundraising campaign, called Forever Brighter, last October, creating communications and fundraising materials that share the remarkable impact of alumni engagement and donor philanthropy on the university. The division has earned 19 marketing and communications awards from multiple competitions.
George and Gina Jenkins Establish Student-Athlete Scholarship With $1 Million Planned Gift
George L. Jenkins, a 1963 graduate of 麻豆传媒, and his wife, Gina, of Scottsdale, Arizona, have pledged $1 million to create the Gina and George Jenkins Student-Athlete Scholarship Fund that will support student-athletes in any varsity athletics program or team sponsored by 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
