Â鶹´«Ã½'s Fall 2026 International Student Orientation welcomes newly arriving international students to campus. This orientation covers essential immigration and academic information, key campus resources, and the support services that help you succeed at Â鶹´«Ã½.

Movers and Groovers will take place from August 19th – 20th from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Movers and Groovers will: • Greet new students as they arrive on campus! • Help students move into their residence hall rooms (carrying bags, boxes)! • Guide new students and answer questions they may have about moving in!
After moving into your residence hall, what better way to start your journey as a Golden Flash than with music, fun games, and ice cream?

When you are done with KSU Kickoff check-in inside the Kent Student Center from 3 - 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, stop by outside at the Risman Plaza for some fun at Make Your Mark.
*Required Event for First-Year Students*
For only first-year, Â鶹´«Ã½ students living on-campus, in a residence hall. Commuting students will be required to attend a different check-in session on August 21, 8 - 9 a.m. (more details can be found in the app).
Need assistance locating your Dean's Welcome location? Stop by Risman Plaza right in front of the Kent Student Center between 8:45 - 9:15 a.m. Here, Peer Success Mentors (PSMs) will walk students to their specific Dean's Welcome location by college.
