“Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts," is inscribed on a plaque at the Â鶹´«Ã½ Student Memorial Garden on Manchester Field on the Kent Campus. It was created in 2015 in remembrance of all Â鶹´«Ã½ students who have died.
The inspiration for the Student Memorial Garden came from and other student organizations who advocated for a permanent student memorial on campus. The garden is maintained by University Facilities Management and features seasonal plantings, stone benches and a waterfall, designed to mask the sounds outside of the garden for quiet contemplation.
