When Â鶹´«Ã½'s in October at Dix Stadium, they brought a secret weapon: an orange cat named Hyperion - "Hype" for short. "Hype" was Â鶹´«Ã½'s representative in a cat-to-cat match up with "Pudge," another orange cat that has received a lot of attention on the web as Bowling Green's athletic mascot and feline good luck charm. However, Hype's mojo won the day as Â鶹´«Ã½ beat Bowling Green 24-21.
After the winter storm in January, Hype's human companion, Mahli Mechenbier J.D., a senior lecturer at Â鶹´«Ã½ at Geauga's Twinsburg Academic Center, used the abundant snow to create a frosty tribute to her beloved cat.
